Day-school organised by the New Uses of Time Department of the Barcelona City Council and the Social and Economic Council of Barcelona to discover and discuss policies and activities developed in the European Union in recent years in the area of work time.

The Social and Economic Council of Barcelona and the New Uses of Time Department of the Barcelona City Council have organised this day-school to present the study: Work time: balance-sheet of interventions in the European Union. The day programme also includes an address by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Jesús Caldera. There will also be a round table with representatives of Comissions Obreres (Workers Committees), Foment del Treball Nacional (Catalan Employers Organisation) and the General Union of Workers (UGT).

The day-school will be held on May 5, at the Institute of Adult Education of the Pompeu Fabra University, carrer Balmes, 132.
